The French neobank, founded by former Revolut and Ledger executives, launched the promotion on 20 October 2026, a month before the game's release. We read the terms and conditions line by line: the small print is tighter than the announcement.

Where is the Deblock GTA 6 offer available?
The offer is open in 30 countries: the 27 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Switzerland, the United Kingdom and every country outside the European Economic Area are excluded.
The promotion's terms do not list countries. They require you to be an adult resident of a country where Deblock currently operates. Deblock's account terms, in turn, require legal residence in the European Economic Area, where its French e-money licence can be passported. Combining the two gives the map below.
| Where you live | Countries | Eligible? |
|---|---|---|
| EU, euro area (21) | Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain | Yes |
| EU, other currencies (6) | Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Sweden | Yes, refund paid in euros |
| EEA outside the EU (3) | Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway | Yes, refund paid in euros |
| French overseas departments | Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, Réunion | Yes, as part of France |
| Outside the EEA, linked to France | Monaco, French Polynesia, New Caledonia | Unclear: check in the app before signing up |
| Suisse | Suisse | No |
| Royaume-Uni | Royaume-Uni | No |
| Rest of the world | United States and all others | No |
The launch announcement presented the offer as available across Europe. For Swiss and British residents, that is not the case.
Paying in another currency. If you buy the game in zloty, kronor, forints or Swiss francs, Deblock refunds the euro value it recorded for the payment, still capped at €79.99. On the free Standard plan, non-euro card payments carry no markup up to €1,000 per calendar month.
Liechtenstein: the Swiss-franc exception. Liechtenstein uses the Swiss franc but belongs to the EEA. Its residents qualify; their neighbours across the Rhine in Switzerland do not.
Cross-border workers. What counts is where you live, not where you work. A cross-border worker living in France, Germany, Italy, Austria or Liechtenstein and commuting to Switzerland qualifies as a resident of that country.
Swiss residents. Unless you also have a legal residence in an EEA country, skip this one and compare Swiss neobanks in our comparison instead.
How to get GTA 6 for free with Deblock: 7 steps
The process takes seven steps, and the order matters: the 90-day clock starts when you enter the code, not when you buy the game.
- Open a Deblock account between 20 October and 31 December 2026. You must be 18 or over, live in an eligible country and never have held a Deblock account, even a closed one.
- Enter the code PAYDAY once your identity is verified, no later than 14 days after opening. That date starts your 90-day period.
- Order the physical Visa card. It is an eligibility condition, even if you then pay with the virtual card.
- Buy GTA VI for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S with your Deblock card, in store or online.
- Submit your claim in the app with proof of purchase (PDF or JPG) showing the game's name, the price, the date and the merchant.
- Reach €1,000 of card spending before your 90 days run out. The app tracks your progress.
- Get your refund in euros on your Deblock account, within 30 days of crossing the €1,000 mark.
You can submit the claim (step 5) before reaching €1,000. It is then put on hold, and that is exactly what you should do: we explain why below.
Deblock GTA VI offer: the full terms and conditions
The terms are stricter than the launch announcement on three points: the cap is €79.99, only card payments count, and only countries where Deblock operates qualify.

|---|---|
| Who | Adults resident in a country where Deblock operates, who have never held a Deblock account |
| Excluded | Former customers (closed account), Deblock employees and executives and their close family |
| Account opening | 20 October to 31 December 2026 inclusive |
| Promo code | PAYDAY, at sign-up or within 14 days, by 31.12.2026 at 23:59 CET at the latest |
| Card | Physical card must be ordered; the game can be bought with the physical or virtual card |
| Spending threshold | €1,000 cumulative with the Deblock card; cancelled, reversed or refunded transactions excluded |
| Deadline | 90 calendar days from entering the code, to meet every condition and submit the claim |
| Game | GTA VI on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, bought from 20 October 2026 |
| Pre-orders | Accepted only if the full price is charged at the time of pre-order, within your period |
| Refund amount | Price paid, capped at €79.99; one claim and one copy per person |
| Non-euro purchase | Refunded at the euro value recorded by Deblock, up to €79.99 |
| Payment | To the Deblock account, in euros, within 30 days of reaching €1,000 |

The €1,000 catch: the calendar that maximises your chances
Everything hinges on the day you enter PAYDAY: it opens a 90-day window, and nothing that happens after it closes counts.
Entering the code around 19 November, release day, puts Black Friday, Christmas and the start of the January sales inside your window, which then closes around 17 February 2027. The latest possible start is 31 December, which stretches your window to 31 March 2027.
- Submit your claim as soon as you buy the game, even if you are far from €1,000. Deblock can change or end the offer at any time, but claims already submitted keep the conditions in force on the day they were filed.
- Beware of pre-orders. They only count if the full price is charged when you order. If your retailer charges on dispatch or on release, buy the game on 19 November instead.
- Keep complete proof of purchase. The PDF or photo must show the game's name, price, date and merchant. If Deblock asks for a document, you have 14 days to provide it or the claim is cancelled.
Our verdict: a real deal, but not a free game for everyone
The offer is excellent if Deblock can become your main card for three months, and a trap if you open an account just for the game. €1,000 in 90 days is about €333 a month or €11 a day: easy for an everyday card, a stretch for a backup one.
Go for it if you live in one of the 30 EEA countries, play on PS5 or Xbox Series, and can move groceries, fuel and Christmas shopping onto the card.
Skip it if you live in Switzerland or the UK, have had a Deblock account before, play on PC, or want the Ultimate edition: anything above €79.99 comes out of your pocket.
Why Deblock can afford it. In the EU, interchange fees on consumer debit cards are capped at 0.2%, so your €1,000 of spending earns Deblock around €2. The €79.99 is an acquisition cost: Deblock is not buying downloads, it is buying customers who already use the card every day. That is what the €1,000 threshold is for.
